I celebrated with the Women of Substance at Timbrel Church International in Upper Marlboro MD. Their theme was "It's Time" from Genesis 30:1, "When Rachel saw that she bore Jacob no children, she envied her sister, and said to Jacob, Give me children, or else I will die!" My message was titled "It's the Time of Life." from 2 Kings 4:8-17. This message focuses on the childless and nameless Shunemite woman who received a blessing from the man of God, Elisha as she stood in the door. Woman of God, when God calls your name, stand in the door as the Shunemite woman did and hear what God has to say about your situation. The Shunemite's situation was that she was childless and her husband was old. Conceiving a child was the one thing that she longed for, but gave up on. She let the hope of bearing a child die. Your hope may have died, but you serve a God of the resurrection and He can breathe life back into your situation. So when you stand in the door, you are transitioning from one season of your life into another. What you thought was dead has now come back to life. Praise God, it is well!
Listen to this message and I pray that it bless your life. Share it with another woman who may have given up on their situation and pray that God breathe life into them. Amen!
